Welcome to the PSC100 section
Our aim is to use take these many different voices and bring them together in one much more powerful, single public sector voice to influence and drive government legislation and action towards helping people adopt healthier lifestyles through catering and education initiatives covering both obesity and malnutrition.
But it doesn’t stop there. The agenda these different groups share is growing, and now the PSC100 looks at wider issues such as sustainability – encompassing the whole range of areas from the environment, recycling, food waste, plastics and the use of local produce – recruitment and retention, training, allergens.
Knowledge and familiarity of all of these topics make the toolbox of skills that the modern catering industry worker needs to succeed so that they develop and flourish within our superb part of the hospitality industry.
Collaboration is the way forward in today’s ever-changing world; it’s become vital that you have a platform you can use to be able to network and share ideas within.
The PSC100 group provides the vehicle we can use when challenges arise that impact on our sector; it allows us to present a united front to better influence government thinking.
It is essential that we have ‘seat at the table’ when Government is looking at changes that could affect the way we work or setting new polices. That way we can help set the agenda and lead from the front.
We are not here to replace the different catering associations and groups, instead we aim to provide a rallying point when collective action is called for.
PSC100 - Together we have a powerful and influential voice.
