Chairman and CEO of Westbury Street Holdings, Alastair Storey, has been announced as the new president of the Institute of Hospitality.

As the new president of the Institute of Hospitality, Storey will act as an ambassador, help to shape Institute strategy and participate in its calendar of events.

Storey said: "It's vital that we encourage people to join our industry and once they are here, develop their careers with quality training and qualifications.

“The Institute provides a great vehicle to do just that, as well as a good forum for communication, camaraderie and finding out what's going on. It is the Institute for managers in our industry and as such it's really important to make sure it's promoted."

Westbury Street Holdings’ six brands are BaxterStorey, Benugo, Holroyd Howe, Caterlink, Searcys and Portico.
