Bill’s to host candlelit dinner this month in support of Earth Hour

British-inspired restaurant chain Bill’s is supporting the environment movement Earth Hour this month (24 March), having announced plans to switch off all internal lighting in its 80-strong restaurants nationwide.

From 20:30, the company will turn off all internal lighting and instead invite diners to enjoy an “atmospheric” candle-lit dinner.

The move forms part of Bill’s Green Mission, which highlights its commitment to “running the business efficiently with the lowest environmental impact.”

Chief executive Duncan Garood said: “It is really important to us that all of our restaurants got involved in Earth Hour.

“We’ve been working hard to make our business as sustainable as possible. Our staff and customers have helped to drive this change so it’s great to be able to offer diners a unique experience at the same time.”
