The Queen of Hoxton bar in Shoreditch opened its rooftop to its latest pop-up eating and drinking experience yesterday (26 October).

The east London venue has created a Moroccan-themed experience for visitors befit with a ‘secret snug’ hidden inside a giant Moroccan lamp and a ‘treasure trove’ of brightly coloured baboushe slippers, ceramic tiles, twinkling lanterns, cushions and drapes.

The kitchen is serving up halloumi fries, lamb and apricot tagine and a rainbow vegan mezze board. Drinks on offer include spiced hot buttered rum, shimmering gold pomegranate bellini and Casablancan mint tea.

The Queen of Hoxton is also holding a series of Moroccan-inspired events over November, including an Arab comedy show, yoga and meditation classes and Moroccan shoe making workshops.

The ‘Moroccan Medina’ pop-up is free to enter and will run until March 2018.
