Over 4,500 attendees expected at Casual Dining Show 2018

This year’s Casual Dining Show is expected to attract around 4,500 visitors when it opens its doors tomorrow (21 February) at the Business Design Centre in London.

Restaurant, pub and bar operators will be among those in attendance at the Islington venue where over 200 exhibitors are scheduled to showcase new products and services across the two-day event.

The show’s seminar line-up includes directors from PizzaExpress, Jamie’s Italian, Mitchells & butlers, Loungers and the Casual Dining Group.

Representatives from Loungers and the Casual Dining Group will also be among the judges for the annual Innovation Challenge, which sees a selection of exhibitors pitch their new innovations for the industry.

Eva Ellis, Casual Dining’s event manager, said: “Britain loves casual dining – it’s flexible, convenient, innovative and affordable.

“According to the latest stats from CGA, around 36.5 million consumers visited a casual dining brand in the last six months.  However, with more and more operators competing for consumer spend and loyalty, standing out from the crowd is vital.  That’s where Casual Dining show comes in.

 “Everything that casual dining operators need to run their businesses successfully – from the food and drink they serve to how it’s paid for, the kitchen equipment to the front of house – it’s all here.”
