The New World Trading Company (NWTC) has launched a mobile cocktail bar, ‘The Wanderer’, available for private event hire around the UK.

Sponsored by Plymouth Gin, the fully working vintage bar is a converted Citroen HT van, and comes fully kitted with NWTC bar staff, a selection of spirits, craft beers and mixers. Guests will be able to choose from a range of cocktails and mocktails on the menu and also have the option to make their own bespoke drink.

Nick Whitby, head of bars at NWTC said: “We get inundated with requests asking if we can provide our cocktails and drinks for private celebrations. The Wanderer is perfect for this. The vehicle has been adapted to house a sleek bar but it also promises to deliver our highest standard of award winning cocktails and drinks no matter where the celebration is, up and down the country.”

Magin Trewhella, head of marketing at Pernod Ricard UK (owner of Plymouth Gin) commented: “We’re delighted to be working with The New World Trading Company to launch this innovative and exciting new way for consumers to enjoy Plymouth Gin.

“The Wanderer is a natural fit for the brand as from its inception, the British Royal Navy consumed it on the move. Plymouth’s gentle yet complex flavour profile has long been acknowledged by bartenders as an ideal gin for cocktails, so it’s fantastic to be merging the excitement of a new venture with the heritage of the historic brand. We can’t wait for even more consumers to experience the super-premium gin in a variety of expertly-made cocktails.”

The Wanderer is available to hire now from £170 per day.
