19/07/2007 - 00:00
A new restaurant and bar 'combining Latin American and Japanese cultures' has recently opened its doors in Camden.

Hi Sushi Salsa seats up to 150 guests in the restaurant area, and a further 50 on the outside terrace on the banks of Camden Lock. Head chef Eric Fu, who has trained in one of the top sushi restaurants in Hong Kong, serves a range of authentic cuisine including sushi, sashimi, salads, yaki grills, and a variety of Tempura. Dishes on the menu include grilled chicken wing and king prawn skewers, and steamed wild seabsss in black bean sauce with oyster mushrooms. Prices range from £1.50 for fresh nigiri sushi, £9.00 for hot dishes including teppanyaki, and £15.50 for a black cod miso. Weekly guest DJs also attend the eatery, playing a mix of latino, salsa and funk. Hi Sushi Salsa is part of the Hi Sushi Group, which also owns restaurants in North Finchley, Hampstead and Soho.
