Lunch! 2017 reveals more keynote speakers

Lunch! has revealed that Pret a Manger’s head of UK marketing, Will Cole and Neil Littler, chief marketing officer at Canadian coffee chain, Tim Hortons, will also be speaking at this year’s show.

Taking place 21-22 September, Cole will share insight from Pret’s ‘veggie journey’ so far – revealing how a market-leading approach to vegetarian food has continued to drive innovation for the brand, in response to continued growth in the availability and demand for vegetarian and vegan options across the food-to-go market.

He said: “I’m excited to be speaking at my first lunch! event. lunch! continues to have its finger firmly on the pulse of the sector, so it’s the place to go to find out what’s coming.”

Having joined Tim Hortons earlier this year to expand the brand in the UK, Littler will discuss the company’s first UK store in Glasgow as well as its plans to introduce British consumers to its signature items.

Josh Brown, head of commercial development at Harris + Hoole, will also discuss some of the wholesale changes that have taken place at the company, and its new-found home within the Caffè Nero group, after its sale by Tesco last year.
