Lotus Biscoff launches re-designed packaging for OOH market

Lotus Biscoff has unveiled its new re-designed packaging for its famous biscuits within the Out Of Home market.

Known widely as ‘the little red biscuit’, Lotus Biscoff is the leading complementary caramelized biscuit in the UK hospitality sector, with over 130 million biscuits enjoyed every year, according to Category Marketing Manager at Lotus Bakeries, Frances Booth.

“Recognized for its iconic red packaging, the biscuit is seen often by expert Baristas as it is considered to be the only authentic biscuit to offer, when presenting a cappuccino or latte professionally,” she said.

This new packaging follows the recent re-branding of the company as it changes to align with the look of its Out Of Home and retail products. It showcases the bold, bright and modern style using contemporary graphics along with its traditional vivid red colour, to ensure it forms a cohesive brand identity that stays true to its name as the ‘nations favourite coffee biscuit’.

Booth explains the reasoning behind the 1x300 case re-design: “Our ongoing strategy is to create a fully aligned and united design of the Lotus Biscoff brand across the European market, including the UK. By providing our customers within the Out Of Home sector with this new re-design, we now have a fully cohesive brand identity, which will aid overall brand recall from our ever expanding and loyal customer base.”
