Panasonic Corporation is partnering with Regale Microwave Ovens Ltd to distribute the ‘Microsave Cavity Liner’ globally.

Cash to give way to electronic payments, report suggests

By 2021, the number of payments made electronically will overtake those made in cash, according to a report by Discover Global Network.

Jockey Club Catering, the joint venture between Compass Group UK & Ireland and The Jockey Club, served over 1250,000 guests at the Investec Derby Festival (Epsom Racecourse) this weekend (1-2 June).

Hike in food costs last month, Foodservice Price Index reveals

Supply issues and challenging weather are raising costs of foodservice items such as fish, oils and fats, the latest CGA Prestige Foodservice Price Index (PFPI) reveals.

Fish prices were 12.1% higher in April than 12 months previously, due to poorer than expected cod and haddock catches and increased demand from southern Europe.

Catering equipment supplier Pro Foodservice Reps (PFR) has relocated its headquarters to Rolleston Lodge Business Centre in Billesdon (Leicestershire).

The new headquarters is the third move for the company in three years.
