Catering company Graysons appoints two new operations directors

Independent catering company, Graysons, has today (11 June) announced the appointment of two new operations directors to ‘positively impact the business’ and continue growth.

The decision will see Daniel Sykes lead Graysons’ business and industry (B&I) operations while Laurent Ducas-Dufour focuses on the commercial venues business.

Sykes joins from Baxter Storey and Ducas-Dufour from Harbour & Jones.

Research unveils youngsters’ unhealthy eating habits in the UK

New research has today unveiled the unhealthy eating habits of Britain’s youngest consumers – with 60% of 11-16 year olds buying fried foods at lunchtime or after school at least once a week.

The findings form part of the British Nutrition Foundation’s (BNF) Healthy Eating Week, which saw it survey 5,000 primary and secondary school students between the ages of 7 and 16.

Scotland’s Education Secretary John Swinney is expected to announce on Monday plans to ban sugary cereals from school breakfasts, according to The Herald.
