More catering jobs but pay drops by 9.3%, according to new research

According to CV-Library, an online job site with a database of over 14 million CVs, discovered there were 10.3% more catering jobs on offer last month but the average pay for these positions dropped by 9.3% year-on-year.

CV-Library was founded in 2000 by Lee Biggins and attracts over 4.3 million unique visitors every month.

A north-west Leicestershire youngster, Neve Roberts, was crowned Junior Chef of the Year 2019 after her two-course meal impressed judges at the final, held at Booksby Melton College on 24 June.
