Restaurant chain Jackson + Rye has updated the menu across all six of its restaurants, bringing New York brasserie-style dining to the UK.

Featuring a selection of dishes “inspired by classic French flavours with an American twist,” new items include: a beef carpaccio and burrata for starters, as well as a veal chop, seabass fillets and king prawn linguine for main course.

Operations director Adelle Pearman said: “Jackson + Rye prides itself on welcoming, attentive service and with this shift, we’ve fully come into our own as a New York brasserie.

In addition to new desserts – a chocolate fondant and ‘classic’ American pecan pie – diners can also sample the vast selection of cocktails from an Old Fashioned and Manhattan to the company’s own ‘Love Child’ of Belvedere vodka, lychee, vanilla, Cointreau and Prosecco.

“We have responded to our guests looking for a quality dining experience in a relaxed and stylish ambiance, and worked with our front and back of house teams to deliver the elegance and smooth operation of Manhattan dining in both flavour and service.”

The new menu is available now alongside the Jackson + Rye Christmas menu, from £29.95.
