Meantime Brewery, the Greenwich-based craft brewery, has launched its London Helles (the German word for ‘light’), a German Pilsner-style beer.

The brewery, which stopped producing the beer for six year, will relaunch London Helles due to recent high demand in selected pubs in London.

Ciaran Giblin, brewmaster at Meantime Brewing Company, said: “Our original Meantime Helles was one of our most popular beers since we started brewing it in 2004.

“With the traditional Helles balance between malt and hop flavours and aromas, this was a beer that kept people coming back for more.”

The London Helles beer will be available at Marquis of Wellington in Bermondsey, Sir John Balcomble in Marylebone, The Hope in Farringdon, The Fox in Twickenham, The Smugglers Tavern in Warren Street, The Fat Walrus in New Cross and Three Tuns in Aldgate.
