Owner of restaurants Roka, Zuma and Oblix at The Shard, the Waney family has announced that it will be launching a ‘Big Fat Greek Brunch’ at its latest Fitztrovia-based restaurant, Meraki, this month.

Kicking off this Sunday (5 November,) the Greek restaurant will be serving a befitting menu that “celebrates Mediterranean, family-style cooking,” especially curated by executive chef, Athinagoras Kostakos.

For £45 per person, the menu includes a bottomless buffet of fresh Greek salads, mezze dips, homemade breads and pittas, and traditional pies; choice of main including Moussaka, Greek fish & chips and eggs ‘kagiana,’ as well as a dessert and glass of sparkling Greek wine.

Kostakos said: “A brunch at Meraki feels like a warm, cosy lunch at home, with a very relaxed atmosphere and homemade traditional Greek recipes - reminiscent of what you’d expect from a typical Sunday Greek lunch.

“The idea is for Meraki to be a great place to relax, chat and enjoy a Sunday afternoon – all while eating good, real food.”

Taking place every Sunday from 11:30 – 16:00, there will also be a guest DJ at the first event of each month, starting with Danish DJ, fashion blogger and model, Fiona Jane, for the launch this week.
