In the week where all the party leaders except Theresa May had a debate, we found some food facts that everyone can agree on.

Next time someone tells you off for drinking too much alcohol, remind them that there are 13 minerals that are essential for human beings to survive and all of them can be found in alcohol.

Did you know that Maltesers were created by the American Forrest Mars, Sr. in England in 1936, and first sold in 1937. They were originally described as "energy balls" and aimed at slimming women.

They might look like randomly shaped bits of chicken, but McDonald’s chicken nuggets come in four different, carefully designed shapes each with a name – ball, bone, boot and bell. Check them next time you order.
