Franco Manca, the sourdough pizza chain, has launched its new seasonal menu, which champions its Neapolitan heritage and locally-sources ingredients.

The new menu, created by Franco Manca founder Guiseppe Mascoli, features pizza topped with seasonal courgettes, basil and Franco and Lloyd mozzarella from Somerset, with buffalo ricotta and Franco and Cantarelli grana.

A new red tomato-free pizza is also on offer, made with mozzarella, yellow piennolo tomatoes, buffalo ricotta with spicy lamb sausages.

Mascoli said: “For our new specials we are working with seasonal ingredients featuring spring and summer offerings, from wild garlic that we are harvesting now, to yellow tomatoes from the Vesuvio area.

“All served up with our 24 hour slow rising sourdough - our fast/slow food. Enjoy!”

The pizza chain has also introduced two new small bites, focaccia made with pizza dough, fresh rosemary, salt and olive oil, and baked spicy lamb sausage cooked in organic tomato with a touch of buffalo ricotta.

The seasonal specials are available across all Franco Manca sites alongside the classic menu.
