Spanish and Portugese chain Ember Yard has announced the 14 London restaurants going head to head in its Croquetas Challenge 2017, to win the title of ‘Best Croqueta in London.’

The final event will be hosted by food writer and critic, Joe Warwick, at Ember Yard on 5 September, and judged by Catherine Hanly of Hot Dinners, Bob Granleese from The Guardian, and Laura Richards from Time Out.

The winning dish will feature on Ember Yard’s menu the week following the competition, 6-13 September, and a free octopus and chorizo with sesame and caper aioli croquet will be offered to all Ember Yard diners from 29 August-5 September.

Tickets are available to the public for £20 per person, which entitles guests to a free drink upon arrival and to sample all croquetas on the night.
