Leisure operator CG Restaurants & Bars has announced that Dirty Martini has acquired two new sites in Leeds and Birmingham as the company continues to grow its portfolio.

Dirty Martini announced earlier this year that it was expanding into Manchester as part of the bar chain’s plans for expansion outside of London.

Following the opening of a site in Cardiff last year, the three new openings will bring the Dirty Martini estate up to 11.

Scott Matthews, chief executive officer at Dirty Martini, said: “We are excited about bringing our portfolio up to eleven sites with the Birmingham and Leeds locations.

“Both have a thriving nightlife and we look forward to being a part of it. Our expansion in Cardiff was a huge success, and as a result we are progressing with our national roll out with confidence.”

The Leeds site has been acquired from Atlas Brauhaus pubs and will undergo a £800,000 refurbishment of its 250-capacity bar.

The group plans on investing £950,000 in overhauling the Birmingham site, which was previously operated by restaurant group, Viva Brazil.
