The Department of Coffee and Social Affairs has secured its first location in the north of England with a summer opening in Manchester’s Faulkner House on New York Street.

The artisan coffee and food concept will take a 3,000 sq ft site, which is close to several large offices and the BIMM music school.

Department of Coffee and Social Affairs CEO, Ashley Lopez, said: “We are thrilled to announce the opening of our 16th coffee shop in the North of England to bring speciality coffee to the people of Manchester. The coffee shop is centrally located in the busy worker district of Manchester making it an ideal spot for us to introduce our brand to locals.”

The site was secured by property specialists Bruntwood.
