Clapham restaurant Minnow to launch breakfast menu

Clapham's 'neighbourhood' restaurant Minnow has announced plans to launch a daily breakfast menu next month (February) as well as a “more indulgent” weekend brunch.

Served from 9am, the new early morning menu will feature a selection of homemade bakes and pastries alongside poached eggs on house baked bread (£7), bircher muesli (£5) and homemade yoghurt topped with granola (£7).

On weekends, customers can enjoy “more indulgent” brunch dishes such as tattie scones with a fried egg (£7), eggy bread (£7) and eggs benedict (£10) alongside a choice of cocktails, fresh juices and hot drinks.

Co-founder Chris Frichot said: “Minnow wanted to fulfil its all-day dining offering, and creating a breakfast menu is the final piece to the puzzle. Guests are invited to grab a pastry and coffee as fuel for their morning commute or to while away the morning in comfort and good company.”

Head chef, Jake Boyce, added: “This is just the beginning of our breakfast menu, we’re hoping to develop it in the coming weeks and add weekly seasonal specials, too.”
