Premium juice company, Cracker Drinks Co, has launched its new brand, Crafted, which is now available to foodservice operators nationwide.

Premium juice company, Cracker Drinks Co, has launched its new brand, Crafted, which is now available to foodservice operators nationwide.

The new range consists of Mango & Passion Fruit, Pineapple, Coconut & Lime, Still Cloudy Lemonade and Apple, Mint & Lime. With no added sugar or sweeteners and high juice content, each 200ml serving of Crafted represents 1 of your 5 a day.

Chris Banks, chair of cracker drinks Co said: “Independent research we had specially commissioned has shown us that more people in the UK are interested in craft juice and juice drinks than any other drinks category, including beer, wine, or spirits."

With 21% of consumers not drinking any alcohol at all and 30% drinking a premium soft drink instead of alcohol at home, there is a clear opportunity for retailers to benefit from this growing market.

Robinsons Brewery has introduced its latest seasonal beer, Robohop, to the marketplace.

Robohop arrives with a hybrid of American and English hops, which have been engineered to create a strong, blonde, triple hop flavour with a lower ABV of 3.6%.

Gill Yates, brand manager for Robinsons Brewery, explained: “For our latest seasonal beer, Robohop, we decided to continue to play on our popular TV and film series theme, as from our customer’s feedback we know just how well this works. We wanted to provide our customers with a brand new blonde zesty ale that they find fun and exciting to drink, and one that they can relate to and have conversations about."
Drinks company Sekforde Drinks has launched a bespoke mixer Sekforde for Gin, that brings out the botanical flavours of craft gins.

The launch of the gin mixer takes the Sekforde range to three, following the  launch of Sekforde Rum and Whiskey mixers at the start of 2017. Each lightly carbonated 200ml serving has fewer than 40 calories per bottle, meaning customers stay under 100 calories with a standard spirit single and under 150 calories with a standard double - less than a large glass of wine or a pint of beer. The mixers also come in well below the proposed sugar tax threshold, with no artificial sweeteners, flavours or preservatives.

Following the popularity of its bottled beverage, Fentimans Botanically Brewed and Exquisitely Crafted Beverages has launched the world’s first ever range of botanically brewed cans.

They are available in four of the brands most popular flavours in 250ml slim cans. These are Rose Lemonade, Curiosity Cola, Wild English Elderflower and Cherry Cola. The new 250ml cans will be available in travel hub retailers; Upper Crust, Caffe Ritazza and Camden Food Hall across sites including Heathrow airport and Kings Cross Station. They will also be available in pubs, bars and also from online supermarket group, Ocado.

The cans have the same look and quality of Fentimans bottled beverages.

Andrew Jackson, marketing director at Fentimans, commented: “Creating cans will make our drinks accessible in areas where glass is not permitted, which was the next logical step for the brand, we also enjoy giving our consumers more opportunities and occasions to taste our much-loved and exquisitely crafted drinks."
