Event organiser Fresh Montgomery has revealed the line-up for the first ever The Foodservice Show and The Professional Kitchen Show, taking place at the NEC Birmingham (22-23 January).

Promising “incredible chefs, inspirational ingredients and healthy competition”, it will also be home to Salon Culinaire Birmingham – “a platform for up-and-coming talent to show off their skills”.

‘No deal’ Brexit causing increase in costs, according to survey

A ‘no deal’ Brexit has caused an increase in costs for 38% of food and drink manufacturers as a result of stockpiling, according to the Food and Drink Federation’s (FDF) latest business confidence survey.

Jockey Club Catering supports Breast Cancer Now

Jockey Club Catering – the joint venture between the Jockey Club and Compass Group UK & Ireland – has raised over £2,500 for the Breast Cancer Now charity this month.

Marking the charity’s flagship fundraising day, ‘Wear It Pink’ (19 October), Jockey Club staff hosted a number of activities and challenges across its racecourses, including selling pink baked goods, wearing pink and washing cars among others.
