Nestlé Professional extends Toque d’Or entry deadline

Nestlé Professional has extended the entry deadline for its annual Toque d’Or competition until 14 December due to ‘high interest’.

With another two weeks to enter, organisers are calling on students and apprentice chefs to get involved in this ‘unique development opportunity’.

The European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO) has announced details of its 2019 European Congress on Obesity (ECO).

Over half of hospitality businesses risk ‘losing’ apprenticeship levy fund

New research claims that thousands of pounds will ‘potentially be lost’ if hospitality businesses continue to waste their apprentice levy fund, which will start to expire in May 2019.

This comes from apprenticeship provider HIT Training who commissioned the research, as there is now less than six months until apprenticeship levy funding begins to expire.
